Jon Rieger

Jon Reiger, a third-generation electrical contractor, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom. Graduating from NDSCS in 1991 with a degree in electrical construction, he quickly advanced his career, passing the journeyman exam in 1993. With a 13-year tenure as an instructor at IEC, Jon has honed his ability to impart practical skills and industry insights.

While he finds particular satisfaction in the challenges and variety of service work, as well as the precision required for control systems, Jon remains humble about his accomplishments. He is proud to have contributed to the construction of the Ralph Engelstad Arena, but he is equally proud of the many other projects he has worked on throughout his career.

When not sharing his expertise, Jon cherishes spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoys the thrill of the hunt.
