Courses Available in the Fall.  Schedule to be released shortly!

Continuing Education Courses.  IEC Dakotas offers a series of code and non-code continuing educations courses.  These courses are usually taught on Friday afternoons at least once per month and are good for 4 hours of your CE requirements.  Classes are taught in IEC Classrooms, and via Zoom feeds to our members and their employees.

Professional Electrician’s Program (PEP).  This program is an intensive 18-24 month course intended for apprentices with more than 8,000 hours of On-the-Job hours but no formal training.  The course covers topics like theory, math, motors, leadership, print reading, and test prep.  Instructor led online.  $3390/members, $5000/non-members.  Begins Fall 2024! Federally approved course and graduates will receive an IEC Diploma.

Journeyman Exam Prep Course.  This 10 week, one night per week course is intended to provide insight and prepare apprentices to pass the journeyman’s exam.  Class is live online and instructor led.  Topics include NEC, Print Reading, Math, and plenty of practice questions.  $250/members, $470/non-members. Fall class will begin in September.  Dates released shortly.

IEC is adding a new database to help with student registrations.  We will begin accepting applications no later than June 21st.
