Registration for Classes is Open!

IEC’s 4-Year Registered Apprentice Training Course is accepting applications for the Fall of 2024! If you’re looking to begin your path towards becoming a journeyman, there’s no better program than IEC’s. CLASSES BEGIN SEPTEMBER 3.  Locally taught and nationally developed, our program will  get you off on the right foot.  The process for registering is new this year- just click on the link below and fill in the required information.  IEC will coordinate with apprentices and contractors to ensure that you’re enrolled in the correct course.  Here’s the detailed 2024 Fall Semester Start Dates Class meets in person or online 1 night per week. Professional Electrician’s Program (PEP).  This program is an intensive 24 month course intended for apprentices with more than 8,000 hours of On-the-Job hours but no formal training.  The course covers topics like theory, math, motors, leadership, print reading, and test prep.  Instructor led online. Begins Fall 2024! Federally approved course and graduates will receive an IEC Diploma. Class will begin in mid September.  Register Here: 

Journeyman Exam Prep Course.  This 10 week, one night per week course is intended to provide insight and prepare apprentices to pass the journeyman’s exam.  Class is live online and instructor led.  Topics include NEC, Print Reading, Math, and plenty of practice questions.  Schedule released soon! IEC Dakotas is using a new database system to register and enroll students

This is a 3-part process:  

STEP 1: Registration. This should be done by the apprentice. They can click here and submit their contact information.

STEP 2: Approval. IEC will approve each application and attach them to their contractors in the database.

STEP 3: Enrollment.  Contractors will login to Flashpoint Database and enroll their students in the appropriate class
